Day 1 – The basic principles & What’s your Dosha
During this first day, the basic principles of Ayurveda will be explained. The world will be introduced in terms of life’s main qualities according to the ancient ayurvedic rishis (see-ers) and the 5 elements. They will serve as the basis for determining what your most dominant dosha, your constitution, is. Day 2 – Balancing your dosha: Prakruti & Vikruti Understanding your dosha is just one aspect of living an authentic & balanced life. This second day, you will learn how your constitution is two-fold, and how it is affected by food, seasons, time spans during the day, smells, sounds, etc. Balancing your dosha is a fundamental aspect to realizing a healthy self. From this, your relationship with your environment will start to shift in a positive direction that is nourishing and energizing.
Day 3 – How to apply Ayurveda in your practice and in your life Lastly, applying the principles of Ayurveda in your yoga practice and extrapolating them to your life is not a dogma or a chore.
